Zac was Editor of the Ecologist Magazine for nine years, stepping down in
2007 when selected as Conservative Party Parliamentary candidate for
Richmond Park and North Kingston. He remains Director of the Ecologist.
In 2005 he conducted a wide-review of environmental policy for the
Conservative Party. The Quality of Life Policy Review was delivered to
David Cameron 2007 and many of its recommendations have become
Party Policy.
Zac also raises funds for groups around the world for issues ranging from
agriculture and energy to climate change, and trade.
In 2004 Zac received the Global Green Award for 'International Environmental
Leadership’ from Mikhail Gorbachev.
Zac is campaigning for a new type of politics, where local people are able to decide on local issues. Read more on his website. He is also campaigning on a broad range of other issues which affect the area:
• leading the campaign against Heathrow expansion
• Fighting for a new school for North Kingston
• Fighting for the protection of our gardens and playing fields
• Supporting our local independent shops
• Campaigning for proper youth provision
